GMUN 2009…Raising World Changers!

The innaguaral session of GMUN will hold in April 2009. It will be bring together hundreds of young people/ students from tertiary institutions around the south west Nigeria, they will come together to share ideas, compete, inspire each other and grow in knowledge.

GMUN 2009 is tentatively scheduled to hold between April 5th and 10th 2009  in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, and will explore a simulation of over 125 countries and eight committees of the United Nations.

GMUN 2009 will not only inspire young people to be more positive about change in their community and the world. It will provide them with support and platform upon which they can stand and be the change they seek.

An Unmatched Educational Experience

The GMUN conference is not all about debate and lectures. GMUN places emphasis on the importance of social events and exposure to the local culture of the hosting community, special social events like award nights, dinners and cultural visits e. t. c. will form part of the GMUN experience. It’s an all round exciting experience!

Delegates who demonstrate excellence in research, debate, diplomacy, mediation, cultural empathy and in promoting the GMUN ethos will receive Outstanding Delegate Awards. Commendable delegates will be offered exciting opportunity to participate in International MUNs to further expose them to international politics and sharpen their skills.
